Cargo bikes rather than a truck: smaller units that get through narrow routes. One bike carried the sound, one was the drinks station. Never the same bike — the box is full of one of them.

On the route
The cargo bikes run on electricity and the rig ran on battery. No generator. No exhaust.
Scandic's own campaign, BE YOU, was mounted as a banner on the bikes the whole way, alongside the client's flags.
What a cargo bike costs
A cargo bike with a sound system costs DKK 6,800 excl. VAT. Without a sound system it costs DKK 5,000 excl. VAT.

Indicative prices for one cargo bike for one parade. Branding, styling and a drinks station are agreed separately, and the price depends on how much has to be built.
Questions
When do cargo bikes make more sense than a truck?
For smaller groups, narrow routes, and where a truck is too much. The bikes run as one unit: the sound bike plays to all sides and covers up to 80 people, the supply bike carries the drinks.
Can you have a drinks station along the route?
Yes. On this job one bike carried the sound and one was the drinks station. A box takes around 80 kg, so there is room for a couple of hundred cans.
Can we put our own branding on the bikes?
Yes. Scandic's BE YOU campaign was mounted as a banner on the bikes for the whole route.
